Although Salem, Mass is known for the paranormal and hauntings; it is also a place where people come together and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Pickering Wharf is right on the water and they have many restaurants, shops, and things to do. July fourth is a very a special day in Salem, because they have an orchestra that plays music until the end of the fireworks. They even have entertainment for children, which includes face painting. The firework display is amazing combined with a pleasant atmosphere from a mixture of families and friends. So the next time one thinks about Salem, MA., don't just think about the scary part of it, remember there is another side.
